The club is a group of like-minded individuals who enjoy each other's company in addition to the common interest of flying radio controlled model aircraft. We fly both conventional IC and electric models and there are two members with jet powered models.

The club is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association and fully subscribes to it's rules. Particular attention is put on safety and consideration to the public, local residents and the environment in general. The club has eleven resident instructors and five examiners.

The club also meets socially on the first Tuesday of every month.

Our membership is now full, however we may be able to accommodate new members at the beginning of next year. Until then the membership secretary is maintaining a 'waiting list'.
